This handsome 2.5-year-old Lab mix weighs in at over 70 pounds and is the perfect combination of sweet, friendly, and easygoing. While he still has the fun-loving spirit Labs are known for, Arnold is surprisingly laid back for a young dog and enjoys spending time with his people just as much as he enjoys playtime. Arnold gets along great with other dogs and absolutely loves people. He has a gentle, affectionate personality that makes him an easy companion to have around. He appears to be housebroken and has done wonderfully with the use of a dog door, with no accidents in his foster home. He is also kennel trained and walks fairly well on a leash. One thing you'll notice about Arnold is his deep bark. He takes his role as household watchdog seriously and will let you know if he hears strange noises or notices unfamiliar people around. Once he knows everything is okay, he's back to being the sweet, lovable boy everyone adores. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a calm demeanor, a loving heart, and just the right amount of protective instinct, Arnold may be the perfect addition to your family! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $250. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 1Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.
