About

The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application first by visiting our website at www.dachshundpaws.org Mo is a 4-month-old blue wirehaired Miniature Dachshund with a one-of-a-kind look and an even sweeter personality. He got his name from the adorable little "mohawk" running down his nose that makes him impossible to forget. This affectionate little guy loves people and is happiest when he's being held, cuddled, or spending time with his favorite humans. Mo is also playful and enjoys chasing and squeaking his collection of squeaky toys. Like many Dachshunds, Mo is still working on house training, so his future family should be prepared to continue helping him learn and stay consistent with his routine. He's making progress, but it's definitely still a work in progress. Mo would thrive in a home with another playful dog around his size who can be his buddy and help burn off some puppy energy. Because he's small and still learning the ropes, a home without young children would be the best fit. Mo is not yet neutered. A neuter deposit will be required with his adoption. Once he is old enough, adopters may use their own veterinarian and receive the deposit back upon providing proof of neuter, or they may choose our veterinarian and have the deposit applied toward the cost of the procedure. Please look up blue colored Dachshunds and CDA, before applying. Highlights: 4-month-old blue wirehaired Miniature Dachshund Sweet, affectionate, and loves to be held Playful and loves squeaky toys Would love a canine playmate his size Working on house training Best suited for a home without small children Neuter deposit required If you're looking for a loving, cuddly companion with a playful spirit and a distinctive little mohawk, Mo may be the perfect addition to your family. Mo’s adoption fee: $1000 plus a $300 neuter deposit We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found. Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day. If we all agree on the placement, then the dog will stay with you that day. Please visit our website at www.dachshundpaws.org
