Good day. My name is AXEL and here is a little info about me: Breed: Catahoula/Aust Cattle Dog/Basenji mix Age: 4 yrs Gender: male Weight: 50 lbs Height: 18 inches Country of origin: Mexico Highlight(s): playful, loyal, smart, sweet, affectionate Look deep into my eyes, deeper, deeeeper... you are falling in looove... with me! I'm an affectionate guy lookin for love. Born on the street with 3 other siblings, we were really young when we were rescued. Our rescuer has taken terrific care of us. One of my siblings already got a home. Now my Mom, Orinda (posted) and 1/2 sister, Estrella (posted) and me are looking for our forever families. My other sibs found homes already. My turn. I have a bit of a quirky personality and still act like a puppy. I enjoy walks and hiking and doggy play time. Those would be my ideal pastime activities. With proper intro, I get along with other dogs. I do need more exercise than I currently get and more socializing meeting other dogs. I have some rudiments of leash training down, but still need a bit more work on this. You'll find me playful and loyal, as well as very sweet. Health notes: I am being treated for a common issue here, Ehrlichia. Should be complete by the time I am adopted (if not meds will come with me.) A recheck in 6 months is advised. My teeth are being cleaned too. I had a low grade localized mass removed down under my ribcage. Medical report is in my photos. Not likely to affect me moving forward. I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $750.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper.
