Meet Max, a handsome four-year-old German Shepherd and Pyrenees mix who is ready to bring a whole lot of love into his forever home. As you can see, he is a stunning black and tan boy who already knows how to stand nicely and look proud on his walks. Max spent the first chapters of his life being a cherished companion in Mountain City, Tennessee, but when his eighty-year-old owner could no longer care for him due to health challenges, Max found himself in need of a helping hand. Thanks to a dedicated transport partnership, Max is making the journey all the way to Eleventh Hour Rescue in New Jersey to find his true perfect match. This sweet guy is the ultimate package and an absolute dream for just about any family. Max is already housebroken and is leash trained, so you can count on peaceful, enjoyable daily strolls right from day one. He has an incredibly friendly disposition and does fantastic with other dogs and kids alike. Max has also been cat-tested and completely ignored them, meaning that with a patient and proper introduction, he will likely do great living alongside feline friends. Max is healthy, fully neutered, and entirely up to date on all of his vaccinations. He is a gentle, loyal soul who truly loves nothing more than being close to his human and sharing affection.
