Hi everyone, I am the laid back, sweet, companionable, loyal Elsa (Ellie) and here's some information about me: Age: 5 yrs 7 months Breed: Pyrenees x Border Collie Weight: 24-26 lbs Height: 17 inches Gender: Female Hi, I'm Elsa, Ellie to my pals.Just a laid-back girl looking for a calm home and a human of my very own. I love being close to my person, keeping you company, and being part of your day. My favourite things are long walks, beach trips, a quick burst of zoomies, and then spending most of the day snoozing on the couch or bed. A quiet routine where I can relax and feel safe will be perfect for me. I’ve got quite the toy collection and I’m very proud of it. Beef liver is my favourite treat for getting my attention and inspiring me to do a few tricks. I do best when life is calm and predictable. Unfamiliar noises and unpredictable things happening outside can get me a bit worried, so I like to keep my circle small and my environment peaceful. When I hear people coming and going in the building, I will voice my concern, so I need a person who can gently guide me and reassure me that all is well. I am crate trained, leash trained and house-trained. No concerns about being left alone for a few hours once I’ve settled into my routine. While I enjoy walks and love getting outside to explore, I’m not an all-day high-energy dog. I prefer a nice balance of activity and rest, with plenty of downtime afterwards. I’ll happily engage with training when I’m in the mood, especially if there’s something extra tempting involved but I can be a bit particular with meals. My person has learned a few tricks (like a sprinkle of crushed beef liver) to help entice me. I get along with: Dogs: No Cats: Not sure Kids: No My perfect place would be an adult-only home with someone who understands dogs like me and enjoys a close bond with their companion. I would prefer to be the only pet in the home so I can relax without feeling overwhelmed or like I need to share attention. I bond strongly with my person and really enjoy having that one-on-one connection. I am not comfortable living with other dogs. Outside the home, I can be social in my own way, sniffing other dogs and sometimes choosing to play, especially with smaller dogs. Bigger dogs can make me a bit nervous, so I prefer calmer, smaller pals when I do interact. A quieter home environment suits me best, somewhere I can relax without too much hustle and bustle. In the right setting, I’m a loyal, affectionate companion who loves being near you and settling into a peaceful life together. I am fully house trained, spayed, microchipped, my shots are up to date. Additionally, I am a healthy girl with a good body condition and no known medical concerns. My person has helped me maintain a stable weight and I have not required any ongoing vet treatment in the past. An adoption fee of $100 applies. THIS IS A COURTESY POST.
