Winston is a 9-year-old, approximately 12 lb Yorkie with the looks and energy of a dog half his age. In fact, if you met him, you might think he was still a puppy! This little guy is full of life, loves to play, and is always ready for fun. Winston's favorite activities include playing fetch, chewing on doggy bones and toys, going for neighborhood walks, and sniffing around the backyard. He's looking for a home where he can play, be active, and included in daily life. He would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run around and burn off some of his youthful energy. Winston is good with kids and other dogs, making him a wonderful companion for many different types of households. He was recently neutered and is currently working on his potty training. This should improve as he settles into a consistent routine. While Winston is okay in a crate, what he really wants is to be close to his people. If you're looking for a sweet little shadow who will follow you from room to room, greet you with excitement, and shower you with love, Winston may be your perfect match. Winston will need some patience, structure, and training to settle into his new home and learn some doggy manners. Once he relaxes enough to feel safe and secure, his sweet personality shines. He has so much love to give and is ready to find a forever family that will appreciate his playful spirit, affectionate nature, and zest for life. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today!
