Meet Cloud! She is a very sweet and loving 1 yr old female Great Pyrenees. Unfortunately she was part of a neglect animal cruelty case along with 12 other Great Pyrenees. She was only 25 lbs, anemic, severely undernourished and incredibly shutdown/scared at the shelter. After coming into SPIN Rescue, meds, proper nutrition, and love, she has blossomed into a confident, loving, healthy 45lb dog with good house manners. Cloud is a happy girl who comes when you call her name and has loved meeting new people and dogs. She follows the resident dog in her foster home around like he's a movie star. She likes to play with toys and will even play fetch. She also thinks her foster moms slippers are toys, she is still a puppy in many ways. She is very playful with the large resident dog and likes to roughhouse but will settle down quickly. She gets the zoomies when excited and will run around the backyard. She does have a slight prey drive with squirrels and birds (even managing to catch a bird) so we aren't sure how she would do with cats and should have proper and slow introductions. Cloud is good with the kids she has been introduced to. She went to the groomer and got a perfect report card. She was afraid to meet the yard crew, it seems she is cautious around tall men in hats, likely do to abuse in the past. She is house trained, does well during group walks and enjoys looking out the window on car rides. She thinks she is a big girl now and doesn't need her crate, when left home she is kept in the gated kitchen with toys and has not had an incident. She has found her voice along with her confidence, she will bark if the neighborhood dogs are barking or to alert when someone is walking by. Sweet Cloud is looking for family that will continue to show her love and give her the life she deserves. She is currently in a foster home in Dallas, Texas. Out of area adopters are responsible for arranging their own transportation. Cloud is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250.
