Dearest human types, my name is DARCILYNN and I'm a discerning lady looking for a new home. I enjoy the finer things in life and I'm looking for a home with someone ready to keep me in the style to which I believe I am entitled. Everyone is saying I look like a Pomeranian mix, possible a Pomeranian/Schipperke, aka a Schip-A-Pom or Pomerke. I'm looking to be the center of someone's universe, your one and only love. I do not wish to live with other dogs. I don't even like to think of myself as a dog, so I have no interest in living with one of those butt sniffers. I do require a human who will be willing to take care of my need for spa services -- regular brushing, luxurious baths and mani/pedis of course. It's rude to ask a lady her age and weight, but if you must know I am 3-5 years old and weigh about 18 pounds, although I am currently carrying around a bit of extra fluff if you catch my drift. If you'd like to meet up to see if we might be a good match, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org and a member of my staff will be in touch. We can also meet up at this adoption event thingy, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
