Please read all of the description. Meet Punkin! Punkin is a 4-year-old, 6.5-pound Chihuahua with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This little lady came to us from a shelter after her previous owner was forced to surrender her due to a medical issue that made it impossible to afford the veterinary care Punkin needed. When Punkin arrived, she was suffering from a slipped disc in her neck. Thanks to medication, lots of rest, and loving care, she has made wonderful progress and is feeling much better. She is now ready to find a forever home of her own. Punkin absolutely adores her foster mom and is happiest when she's curled up under the blankets snuggling close. She also enjoys car rides, leisurely walks, and spending quality time with her favorite person. Like many Chihuahuas, Punkin forms strong bonds and prefers to be the center of attention. Because of this, she would do best as an only dog in a home where someone is around much of the time to give her the love and companionship she craves. Punkin has a classic Chihuahua personality—she can be incredibly sweet, affectionate, and devoted, but she also knows what she likes and isn't afraid to express herself. She appears to be potty trained, is not destructive, and settles nicely into a routine. Punkin is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Her adoption donation is $250 . If you think Punkin might be the perfect little companion for your family, please submit an application at www.misfitsdogrescue.org .
Adoption fee: $200
