Meet Peanut! Peanut is a 9-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and so much love to give. While he may be a little shy and timid when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long to see what a special boy he truly is. Sweet, sensitive, and incredibly affectionate, Peanut’s favorite place is right by his person’s side. This handsome senior is a total lovebug who enjoys snuggling up with his family and soaking up all the attention he can get. He loves exploring the yard and checking out his surroundings, as long as he knows his people are nearby. Peanut gets along well with both dogs and cats. He has shown little interest in playing with other dogs and would likely be happiest with a calm, low-energy canine companion or as the center of someone’s world. When a more energetic dog invited him to play, Peanut politely declined and went about his day. Peanut is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent manners around the home. His easygoing nature also makes him a great candidate for apartment living. At 9 years old, Peanut recently received a complete senior wellness workup and has no known health issues. He’s ready to spend his golden years being loved, spoiled, and cherished by a family of his own.
