Best Match: Seeking an adopter with moderate cat experience May be okay in a home with savvy teens Prefers a home with another cat Prefers a home without dogs Needs to be indoor only Receives daily medication to stay happy and healthy Irving is a charming little tabby with a big personality and lots to say in his charmingly unique voice! Like most cats, Irving takes time to warm up to his new people and home. One thing that helps him feel especially secure is having a cat buddy. He’s been enjoying the company of his foster’s resident cat — following him around, snoozing in the same rays of sun and watching the world together in front of the screen door. Irving also enjoys eating his friend’s food, so do keep an eye out! He’ll will come running for any meal, especially as his foster has been using a clicker to announce mealtimes. He would do best in a home with a confident cat to help him settle in and feel comfy. Irving is an affectionate boy but can be sensitive about being handled, so someone who understands cat body language and the importance of respecting his boundaries would be a good match. This sweet senior still enjoys playing, despite being a tripod as the result of an old injury. He takes daily medication to help keep him comfortable and is also continuing treatment for stomatitis. At the end of the day — after meals and play and naps — Irving sleeps on the same bed with his people. If you’re looking for an affectionate and playful furry friend that will entertain you with his ongoing commentary, Irving is your guy! All it takes is some patience, understanding and a little space to be himself and his charming company will be your reward. Irving is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
