A CUTE LITTLE FELLOW: Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 11 lbs. Hi, I’m Justin! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself at animal control with a couple of other little dog friends. Thankfully, Mostly Mutts came for me and the other dogs so we’re all safe and sound and ready to find furever homes. I’m a sweet pup with my whole future ahead of me, and I can’t wait to meet the person who will make me part of their family in a nice quieter type of home. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came in with a couple of other dogs that I liked, and I met some dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I showed interest in them - I even played with another female dog about my size. So, if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no very young or loud kids, as I think I’d do better with calm-natured kids. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a very sweet boy who can be shy when meeting new people, so I may need a little time to feel comfortable. Once I do, though, I’m a total lovebug and a wonderful little lap dog who enjoys being close to my people. I was a bit unsure during my photo shoot - what was that flashy thing anyway? But I’m gaining confidence every day and had fun playing chase in the play yard at MM and showed them what a sweet little potato I am. I was also very brave for my bath and ear cleaning, with only a little uneasiness about the sprayer. Even though I’m still super shy at first, I’ve been easy to handle, warm up nicely, and have a gentle, loving heart just waiting to shine. / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘come’ and ‘leave it’ commands so far and I look forward to learning more. I’m new to a leash, but coming along nicely – though I can still be a little bit of a flight risk, so let’s walk in quieter areas if possible. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I’m doing pretty well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’m having some accidents on the shelter schedule, so I’ll want my new family to help me master my potty training. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I’m a sweet boy who absolutely LOVES laps and would happily curl up in one when given the chance. I especially enjoy spending time with nice, gentle people, and treats are definitely one of my favorite things! I’m sure we’ll find lots more things we’ll love doing together once I’m settled in my new home. / I don’t like being rushed into new situations or relationships, so please give me a little time to get comfortable and build trust. Once I feel safe, my sweet personality really shines. And like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a lovely dog looking for a family that lives a quieter life so I can totally relax and live the good life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
