My name is Brownie. Not only am I very cute, I am extra special. I have extra toes on my front paws. This makes me a polydactyl- like the “Hemingway” cats. Polydactyls came to the New World on ships. Sailors thought their extra toes gave the cats better balance on board. Polydactyls were favored as superior mousers and regarded as good luck charms.
