Meet Orion, a handsome long-haired boy with a soft white coat, a striking tawny tail, and a personality that makes friends wherever he goes. Orion is the definition of a people cat. He doesn’t believe in strangers: everyone he meets is simply a friend he hasn’t spent time with yet! Confident, outgoing, and endlessly affectionate, Orion is happiest when he’s close to his humans. The moment you sit down, you can expect him to appear at your side, ready to curl up in your lap and keep you company. He loves attention, enjoys being carried around, and is so relaxed that he’s perfectly content being held like a baby. While Orion is mostly a lounge-and-snuggle kind of cat, he still has a playful side. He enjoys interactive play, climbing cat trees, and chasing toys, especially rolling balls that he can bat across the room. Smart and full of personality, he likes being involved in whatever is happening around him and always seems to find a way to make his presence known. Orion is also quite the conversationalist. He’ll happily meow when he wants pets, playtime, or a meal, and his purr motor is always ready to get to work. As a food-motivated grazer, he appreciates having snacks and meals available throughout the day. This easygoing boy has excellent litter box habits, adapts well to new situations, and even handles carrier trips with confidence. He has been friendly with other cats, showed polite curiosity toward a large dog, and would likely do well in a variety of homes. Orion could happily live as an only cat, soaking up all the attention for himself, but he could also coexist with other respectful pets. Because he enjoys scratching, Orion will appreciate having plenty of sturdy scratching posts and cat trees to help keep his claws busy.
