Baxter is a charming 4-year-old neutered Border Terrier with a gentle nature and lots of love to give. This sweet boy enjoys a balanced lifestyle—he's just as happy heading out for a nice walk as he is settling in with his favourite toys at home. Baxter can be a little nervous when meeting new people, so he's looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will give him the time he needs to build trust and feel comfortable. Once he warms up, his affectionate and loyal personality really shines through. His ideal home would be a calm environment with no young children, where his boundaries can be respected. His new family needs to be willing continue to build his confidence through positive experiences. A family who enjoys daily walks and interactive playtime would be best. Baxter is a lovely companion with a sensitive side, and he'll do best with someone who can offer reassurance, routine, and lots of love.
