About

Sauerkraut is an energetic, talkative 9-month-old guy looking for his forever home! This sweet boy is an energetic and social cat. He likes playing, especially with his catnip toys. He enjoys being around people and is happiest when he’s in the mix of what's happening. This dude has a lot to say and he is excited to share his opinions with you. When he needs a break, you’ll find Sauerkraut taking a nap on top of his cat tower. He’s also curious about the world around him, so is happy to look out the windows and check out the neighborhood. Sauerkraut is a good companion; he likes to hang out and watch TV with his person, and is always happy to receive pets, be picked up, and to be held. He currently eats mostly dry food, but he really loves his tube treats! This handsome fellow currently lives in a foster home with other cats, but he is kept separately in his own room, since two of his cat roommates are taking a little while to fully accept him. At his previous home, Sauerkraut had a brother that he was bonded to, but sadly his brother was accidentally let outside and never found. I think he misses his bff, and would really benefit from another young, social, easygoing cat to play and snuggle with. This sweet boy really does not like to be alone in his foster room, so he will thrive with a feline pal as well as a loving home with people who are around a lot to play with him and give him lots of attention. Sauerkraut would do best in a house vs. an apartment due to his chatty nature. Sauerkraut will be neutered on June 6, and receive some dental care for a broken tooth on June 11. After that, this adorable condiment is ready to add just the right amount of flavor to your life! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat?
