I first met Jackson after he had been rescued at an apartment complex by a good Samaritan who recognized him as a friendly, loving soul. He came bounding up to me and put his front legs up on my legs asking for attention. He is sweet and gentle, has not scratched or bitten, and even likes his tummy rubbed. Although he had a bit of a rough start, he has been gaining weight and with that has developed boundless energy. It seems impossible to wear him out as he runs the length of the house, round and round the couch, chasing a mouse on a wand toy. We tire long before he does. He is also a great conversationalist, talking to us and sometimes to himself. His soft and shiny white coat is accented with bold tabby splotches, a gorgeous combination. Jackson desires lots of love and attention including plenty of play time; a tall cat tree or adequate climbing places to get a bird’s eye view of his world; and a nice bed for daily naps after play. He is non-aggressive with other cats and would love to have a feline friend to play with. Jackson is indoor only and his rehoming fee is $150. He lives in Cornelius and is 1-1/2 years old. His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test.
