Gentle, well-trained companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. Nix is a big, sweet Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix with an even bigger heart. He is the kind of dog who forms strong bonds with his people and simply wants to be included in everyday life. Affectionate, gentle, and easygoing, Nix is happiest when he is close to his family. Whether you're relaxing at home, running errands, going for a walk, or heading out on an adventure, he's content just being by your side. He loves attention, takes treats gently, and has a calm, friendly way about him that makes him easy to love. Nix is a well-mannered companion who has adapted beautifully to life in rescue. He walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, enjoys learning, and already knows several commands. He is eager to please, enjoys spending time with his people, and responds well to guidance and training. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, has done well with cats, and is friendly with the people he meets. His calm, social nature allows him to settle comfortably into a variety of environments, making him an easy companion both at home and out in public. More than anything, Nix wants a family to call his own. He is a loyal, loving dog who is ready to be someone's constant companion, best friend, and shadow for years to come.
