About

Hi, I'm Leon! My name means "lion," and lions are known for their strength and courage. I like to think I've lived up to my name. Even though life hasn't always been easy, I've stayed friendly, hopeful, and ready to greet each new day with a cheerful meow. I'm a big brown tabby boy, about a year old, with a heart just as big as I am. Before coming to the rescue, I was left with four other cats at a stranger's house. It was a confusing start but I've never let it stop me from believing that my forever family is out there. Every day, I use a little bit of that lion-like courage to keep greeting everyone who walks by. I give my best meow, put on my friendliest face, and hope that maybe today will be the day someone stops and sees me. It takes courage to keep opening your heart when you're still waiting for a family, but I haven't given up. I'm a polite gentleman who loves saying hello. If you walk by, don't be surprised if I greet you with a friendly meow and ask how your day is going. I enjoy attention, companionship, and being around people. I'm neutered, current on my vaccines, microchipped, and I've tested negative for both FIV and FeLV, so I'm all set to start my next chapter. Now all I need is a family to show a little courage of their own and take a chance on me. I promise to reward you with friendship, conversation, and a lifetime of love. Could you be the family I've been waiting for?
