Rosie is a 5-month-old Pit Bull mix with a sunny personality and a heart full of love. True to her name, she's a happy, affectionate puppy who adjusted to her foster home without missing a beat. The only thing Rosie loves more than toys is being close to her people, she's happiest when she's right in the middle of the action. This sweet girl has never met a toy she didn't like. Balls, squeaky toys, crinkly toys, giant stuffed ducks, you name it, Rosie loves it. In fact, if she's not eating, playing, wrestling with her dog friends, licking your face, or sleeping, chances are she's proudly carrying a toy around in her mouth. Rosie enjoys walks and is naturally pretty good on a leash, and her exercise needs are moderate. A good play session, a game of tug-of-war or fetch, and a daily walk are usually enough to keep her happy. Rosie is making great progress with house training. She always does her business when taken outside and is rewarded with lots of praise and treats. While she hasn't yet developed consistent signals to let her people know when she needs to go out, she's doing very well for her age. She's also comfortable in her crate, settles quickly, and keeps it clean overnight.\ One thing to know about Rosie: she loves being with her humans. If she's separated from the family while everyone else is together, she may express her disappointment with a loud, high-pitched whine. However, when she's included in the room with her people or settled in her crate, she calms down quickly. Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
