Like Cinderella, she simply needed a little magic to step into the life she was always meant for. This affectionate, people-loving girl believes the crook of your arm is the best place for a cuddle—and that purring is a perfectly acceptable way to hold a conversation. Like many fairy tales, Roni’s story didn’t begin so brightly. She was found at a Nashville apartment complex by a kindhearted person who wanted to help. When she was taken in to be spayed, everyone she met—from rescuers to veterinary staff—quickly agreed this gentle, friendly girl was meant for a more pampered life indoors. Thankfully, Proverbs stepped in as her fairy godmother just in time, giving Roni the chance at the happy ending she truly deserves. You may notice Roni has a tipped ear—the universal sign that a community cat has been spayed. We like to think it gives her a touch of “street cred,” while also serving as a small reminder of how close she came to a very different life. Now, Roni is ready to embrace a life worthy of royalty: sunny windowsills, cozy afternoon naps, delicious meals, and most importantly, a loving family to call her own. All she needs is YOU to make her fairy tale complete. Adoption fee: $150 Roni is spayed, microchipped, is up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia.
