Hey! I'm Lapis, and I'm a 2 month old boy kitten with black fur who loves to bounce around and play! I am good at being held, too. Oh, and if you open my cage, you might see how good I am at being a Houdini--that's what the people at the shelter said I was being when I kept jumping out! I also like to meow and purr, and play with my sister, Amber. She's so fun, and it would be cool to be adopted with her if you're looking for two kittens, but we're okay going to separate furever families, too. We just want furever homes with people who love us and let us be the silly kitties we are! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
