This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Libby is a six-year-old, 15 pound Chihuahua and Jack Russell Terrier mix with a scruffy tan coat and the most wonderfully chill personality you could ask for. This gentle, low energy girl asks for very little out of life, just a couple of short walks, a sweet romp with her bonded companion Trixie, and a comfortable spot right next to you on the couch. Libby is on a potty schedule and doing great, settles happily and quietly into her crate at night, and is steadily improving her leash skills every day. She also does well on car rides and is picking up the commands of "come" and "sit". She enjoys a good Kong toy, will work hard for cookies, and finds joy in simply being included in your everyday routine. She lives with a cat and is completely cat neutral. One thing to keep in mind is that Libby can be a bit of an enthusiastic eater and will happily finish her own meal and then move on to Trixie's if given the chance, so mealtime supervision or separation is recommended. In just a short time in foster care, Libby has already blossomed beautifully, and with a loving and welcoming home she is going to continue to flourish. She would do best in an adult home or one with older children where her calm and easygoing nature can be appreciated. Libby is a mature, sweet, and affectionate girl who is ready to settle into her forever home, ideally alongside her bonded companion Trixie.
