Meet Harloe, an 18-month-old Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog mix with a sweet personality, excellent manners, and so much love to give. Harloe is the kind of dog who quickly becomes her family's shadow. She forms strong bonds with her people and is happiest when she's included in daily life. Whether it's running errands, going for a car ride, attending an event, or relaxing at home, Harloe is just happy to be by your side. This smart girl already has a great foundation of training. She is fully house trained, crate trained, leash trained, rides wonderfully in the car, and knows several commands including sit, down, and shake. She's also represented Barkin Dogs Rescue beautifully at events, where she has shown just what a good girl she is. Harloe would be happy as an only dog or with a canine companion. She enjoys playing with other dogs and does best with companions who are similar in size or larger. She especially tends to do well with more easygoing, submissive dogs who respect her space and communication. Harloe would do best in a home with adults or children ages 12 and older. She loves the children in her immediate family, but she can become protective when unfamiliar children enter her space. Because of this, she will thrive with a family that can provide clear expectations, structure, and thoughtful introductions. At just a year and a half old, Harloe is still learning and growing. She is an intelligent dog who will continue to blossom with ongoing training, consistency, and guidance. In return, you'll get a loyal companion who is eager to be part of everything you do.
