Meet Max: The Low-Maintenance GSD You’ve Been Waiting For! If you love the German Shepherd look but aren’t looking for a high-strung working dog, Max is your guy. At 4-5 years old, Max has officially mastered the art of "chilling." His foster mom says he spent four hours yesterday just lounging on the porch—no fence, no wandering, just enjoying the sunshine. He’s a total social butterfly who excels at daycare and loves playing with the neighbor’s dogs. Personality: Sweet, loving, and a professional snuggler. Behavior: Non-destructive and trustworthy at home. The Bonus: He’s a "velcro dog" who stays right by your side without needing a leash to tell him to stay. Adoption Fees Adoption fees help cover expenses for all the dogs while in the rescue program including the vet check, microchip, vaccines, heartworm testing, fecal check, broken bones, illness, spay/neuter plus other necessary veterinary care with medications and training to get the dog ready for adoption.
