The smallest of her siblings, Daisy was born without back paws, and her back right leg developed shorter than her left. As she has grown, that leg has become an issue for her, and she is scheduled to have it amputated on June 24th. While Daisy's journey has looked a little different than most kittens', she doesn't let that slow her down. She loves playing with her siblings, exploring her surroundings, and finding new ways to navigate the world around her. She is incredibly affectionate and especially enjoys being carried, held, and snuggled close to her people. Daisy can already manage stairs and is able to jump to and from lower furniture on her own. As she continues to grow and adapt after her amputation, she will benefit from ramps or pet steps to help her access taller furniture and favorite lounging spots safely. More than anything, Daisy is a happy kitten who wants to play, love, and be loved. She doesn't know she's different - she simply approaches life with determination, curiosity, and an impressive ability to adapt. Like all kittens, Daisy thrives on companionship and would do best in a home with another friendly cat, a cat-savvy dog, or one of her siblings. Having an animal companion provides opportunities for play, comfort, and confidence as she continues to grow and navigate the world. We are looking for a family that will appreciate her unique needs, celebrate her accomplishments, and provide the support she needs to thrive. Daisy has so much love to give, and we can't wait to see her find the family that will cheer her on every step of the way.
