Meet Callie, a 14-year-old sweetheart with a heart full of love and a lap-cat soul. This beautiful senior girl is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by comfort, patience, and endless snuggles. Callie was surrendered through no fault of her own after her owner developed dementia and unintentionally began hurting her by squeezing her too tightly. Despite everything, Callie remains incredibly sweet and affectionate. From the moment you meet her, she’ll happily curl up in your arms and melt into your affection. Her favorite place in the world is right in your lap, where she would be perfectly content to spend the entire day relaxing beside you. She also enjoys finding cozy hiding spots under blankets, furniture, or tucked-away spaces where she feels safe and secure. Callie would do best in a calm, quiet home without other animals or children. She’s searching for someone who understands the gentle nature of senior cats and can give her the peaceful, loving environment she deserves. Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters. Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and flea/tick prevention.
