Handsome Hank! This sweet blue-eyed boy who arrived to PAW from southern Virginia has had everyone falling in love with him! Not only is he a stunner, but he is sweet, engaged with people, and good with other dogs. Hank had been in a home previously, so he understands what it means to be part of a family. Understandably, Hank is a bit nervous of the hustle and bustle of Rockville, he is not used to the loud cars and foot traffic. When on a walk in the park, however, Hank was all about the smells! He loved sniffing the grass like it was his job! Being an Australian Shepherd, it kind of is his job as this breed is known to be highly intelligent and curious. Hank enjoys the car and at 45 lbs he is a great size for adventures! Walking, running, hiking, camping, smell safaris, etc., Hank is all in! But the most important thing we have learned about Hank is that he is such a sweet boy! He is eager to please and can't wait to find his forever family who will be thrilled just to have him in their company for post-outing snuggles and belly rubs! PAW adopts in the MD, DC, northern VA, and northern PA region.
