Meet Garfield (aka Chester): The Majestic, Lasagna-Loving King Seeking a Calm Kingdom! The Story: If you’re looking for a cat with personality, stunning looks, and a great origin story, meet this handsome 7-to-8-year-old gentleman. He literally chose his rescue family by showing up at their front door meowing loudly... right while they were sitting down to a family lasagna dinner! Naturally, they nicknamed him Garfield, though a microchip lookup later revealed his original name was Chester. He doesn't mind what you call him, as long as it's accompanied by love. Garfield is confident, gentle, simple-minded, and patient with kids, independent. He is a gloriously low-intelligence, simple-minded sweet boy who prefers a life free of complex thoughts. His goofy, relaxed nature makes him incredibly charming to be around. Because he thrives on simplicity, he would absolutely excel as the king of the castle in a low-stress, quieter household (ideally as an only pet, or with a very laid-back companion) If you are looking for a loyal, striking, and beautifully uncomplicated companion who will bring immense charm to your life, Chester/Garfield is ready to meet you!
