Meet Socks! Socks is a 6 week old male kitten that was surrendered to RAC with his litter mates in the hopes of his finding a FURever home. He is 1 of a litter of 6 from an unexpected litter. At this age, Socks will need a home prepared for a young kitten. Ideally, one that can provide time, attention, play, and a safe environment as she grows. His adoption fee is $75, which includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, first FVRCP booster, and first dewormer. He is scheduled for his neuter on 7/8/26 at 12 weeks old, which is non-negotiable per Texas state law. An approved application is required prior to meet and greets and adoption. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
