Bruiser is a 3 year old Bulldog mix who is a big, handsome boy with an even bigger heart. This lovable pup is happy-go-lucky, affectionate, and always ready to brighten your day with his joyful spirit. One of his cutest tricks is the adorable little paw lift he gives when meeting new people - that, along with his constant tail wag will make you fall instantly in love! His sweet, affectionate personality shines through in everything he does. Bruiser can be strong on the leash right now … he’s just so excited to get out and explore the world. But with a good harness, a little guidance, and a loving home, he is sure to thrive. Beneath all that big-dog enthusiasm is a loving boy who simply wants someone to love. Bruiser’s life hasn’t always been easy. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was underweight and in need of care. But thanks to getting that care along with plenty of love, he has made an incredible transformation. Now, all 100+ pounds of him is healthy, happy, and full of life - you would never guess the hardships he once faced. What Bruiser wants most is a forever family who will cherish him the way he deserves. He’s ready to leave his difficult past behind, and spend the rest of his life loving his people with his whole heart. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
