About

Meet Jemma! Jemma is a lovely 14-year-old grey and white sweetheart who's hoping to find a peaceful forever home to spend her golden years. With her soft coat, gentle eyes, and calm personality, Jemma is the kind of companion that brings comfort and warmth wherever she goes. This sweet senior girl enjoys quiet moments, cozy naps, soft blankets, and gentle affection from the people she trusts. She's affectionate, easygoing, and happiest simply being near someone who loves her. At 14 years old, Jemma deserves a home where she can relax, feel safe, and be treated like the special girl she is. Senior cats have so much love to give, and this beautiful lady is ready to fill her new home with companionship, sweetness, and quiet joy. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
