*Luna is a courtesy listing. Here is what her caretaker has to say: Luna is a cuddly, affectionate, and playful 3-year-old black cat. She is healthy, spayed, and up to date on all of her shots & vaccines. Luna is truly a good and loving cat, a good fit for anyone looking for an affectionate and loyal companion. Her only flaw is that she doesn’t get along with other animals. Otherwise, she is pretty low maintenance. She has never been aggressive towards any human. She licks and head-butts us, but has NEVER tried to bite or scratch us or any of our guests. She was surrendered by her long-time owner in January. We adopted her, hoping to alleviate her fear and give her a sense of freedom that she could not receive at the shelter. Since we have another cat, our small apartment is not a good fit for her. For the safety of our other cat, we have to confine her to a bedroom for most of the day. Our hope is to find her a forever home, so that she can experience the full commitment and freedom that we can’t provide for her. As previously mentioned, she doesn’t get along with other animals, so her forever home would need to include no other pets. We’re not 100% sure how she behaves around children, but she is easily startled by loud noises and sudden movements, so we assume that a family with young children would not be a good fit for her. She takes a few days to adjust to new environments, but once she gets comfortable, she becomes curious and playful. She loves birdwatching through a nice big window, curling up next to her favorite human, and chin scratches. Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA. The first step in adoption is to...
