WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Skye, an awesome 7 month old Pointer mix with a zest for life that is impossible not to love! This beautiful girl has already had more ups and downs than any puppy should. Skye was first adopted from us as a tiny puppy, later returned, then recently adopted again and returned once more because her adopters felt she had “too much energy.” Well… newsflash… puppies usually do! What Skye truly needs is not less energy, but the right family, one that understands that active young dogs thrive with exercise, adventure, training, and love. Skye deserves a home where she can run, walk, play, explore, and simply enjoy being the happy puppy she was born to be. Skye is affectionate, friendly, and absolutely loves attention. She enjoys being petted, loves treats, and has a blast playing interactively with her people. Rope toys are one of her favorites, and she's always ready for a fun game. She does well with adults and kids, and while she may sometimes bark at other dogs, we don't think it's because she's upset. Honestly, it seems more like she's excited and hoping someone will play with her! Because she's still young, continued training would be a huge plus for Skye and will help her grow into an amazing adult dog. She's smart, eager to engage, and at the perfect age to continue learning. At the end of the day, Skye is just a sweet baby with a big heart and a big personality. She's looking for a family that will embrace her energy instead of trying to change it, a family that will help her become the incredible companion we already know she can be.
