Meet Indy – The Black & Tan German Shepherd Pup with a Brave and Loving Heart Indy is a striking black and tan male German Shepherd whose coat looks like it was painted by an artist — deep black saddle markings over warm tan fur, with eyes that sparkle with curiosity and intelligence. At just a puppy, he already carries himself with the proud stance of his breed, but his playful bounce gives away his age. True to the German Shepherd spirit, Indy is loyal, alert, and eager to learn. He’s the kind of pup who will tilt his head when you talk to him, as if he’s hanging on to every word. Whether he’s chasing a ball, exploring the backyard, or curling up at your feet after a long day, Indy’s presence is pure comfort. He’s also a little adventurer — his name suits him perfectly. Much like a certain famous movie hero, Indy is brave, curious, and always ready for the next quest (even if it’s just finding where you hid the treats). With the right training, love, and guidance, Indy is destined to grow into a devoted protector and best friend for life. New Beginnings Shepherd Rescue is volunteer-based, we work very hard to help as many adoptable GSDs as possible. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters across the country, so sadly we do not have any background information on them.....we work very hard to get to know each and every dog brought into our program in need of a new beginning in their lives. We do not take animals with aggression problems (some may not like other dogs, cats, or may require older kids as opposed to younger children, but we will let you know everything that we know) most of these beautiful dogs have been faithful and loving family pets for their entire lives, yet still have lost their homes and families through no fault of their own.
