After spending more than three months waiting in a shelter, Dawson finally got his freedom ride to FFGW, and he has been winning hearts ever since. This handsome boy is affectionate, easygoing, and wonderfully calm. He has a quiet confidence about him and gets along beautifully with everyone he meets. In his foster home, Dawson quickly befriended the resident kittens and adult cats before being introduced to the dogs. Within hours, he was happily relaxing alongside the entire crew including a 50-pound Basset Hound, 60-pound Vizsla and 100-pound Great Dane puppy. His adaptable, gentle nature makes him an excellent companion for a variety of households. While Dawson is great with other animals, people are his favorite. His happiest place is curled up in a lap, purring contentedly while soaking up pets and affection. He loves being near his person and will happily follow them from room to room, always hoping for a little attention. When he's not cuddling, you'll often find him perched on a windowsill, quietly watching birds, squirrels, and neighborhood dogs put on a show outside. Whether you're looking for a devoted companion, a family cat, or simply a best friend to share your days with, Dawson is the perfect fit.
