Crane is a very friendly Dutch Shepherd mix puppy, who was found wandering in a small rural area with his siblings. Crane does well meeting adults, and has met a variety of farm animals including horses, goats, chickens, cats and other dogs. He shows mild interest them but quickly leaves them behind when asked. He is definitely all about the house and would love to show you that he knows how to use the "place" command on an elevated pet bed. He is full of life and will gleefully zoom around the yard as fast as he can! He is always so happy to see you, and will greet you with a big smile. He will still jump on you and grab your hands for attention, but he is learning to stay down. His current favorite playmates are his siblings and an adult female Dutch who is very alpha. Crane is looking for a home that will truly appreciate his silly personality and head tilts. His favorite trick is to throw himself on the floor in front of you and demand belly rubs! He is still learning about personal space and boundaries and would also love it if his new home had a well socialized, large female dog in the family for him to play with. However, he would also be delighted to be an only child so he can have all the pets and treats to himself! Crane is a very special boy looking to find his very special home.
