Tamlin est un magnifique tabby au doux bedon blanc, trouvé dans le quartier Rosemont en février 2026. Lorsqu’il a été secouru, il était effrayé et portait les marques d’une vie d’errance difficile, probablement marquée par plusieurs bagarres. Malgré tout, il s’est laissé approcher et manipuler avec une grande confiance, comme s’il espérait enfin que quelqu’un prenne soin de lui. Grâce à ses sauveuses, Tamlin a reçu ses vaccins, les vermifuges et sa stérilisation avant son arrivée au refuge. Son âge est estimé à environ 4 ans. C’est encore un jeune chat, avec toute une vie devant lui. Tamlin est un doux sensible. Derrière son regard timide et ses grands yeux ronds se cache un chat tendre, calme et profondément attachant. Il aime observer, explorer tranquillement son environnement et recevoir de l’attention en douceur. Il se laisse manipuler sans difficulté et cherche surtout à se sentir en sécurité. Il tolère bien la présence des autres chats lorsqu’ils sont calmes et respectueux, mais Tamlin ne cherche pas les conflits. Après ce qu’il a connu, il mérite enfin une vie paisible. Il pourrait aussi très bien être le seul chat de la maison, dans un foyer où il recevra toute l’attention et la stabilité dont il a besoin. Nous souhaitons pour lui un environnement calme, sans jeunes enfants, afin de préserver son équilibre et limiter son stress. Des enfants plus âgés, doux et respectueux des animaux, pourraient lui convenir. Un chien tranquille pourrait également être envisagé avec une introduction progressive. Tamlin devra subir une dentisterie, qui sera prise en charge par le refuge. Ses futurs adoptants devront simplement être disponibles pour l’amener à son rendez-vous à Montréal. Tamlin est un chat adulte, donc les frais d'adoption pour lui sont de 290$. Il est stérilisé, vacciné, micropucé. Il est positif pour le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF), mais négatif pour la leucose féline (FeLV). When he was rescued, he was frightened and bore the marks of a difficult life on the streets, likely shaped by many fights. Thanks to his rescuers, Tamlin received his vaccines, deworming treatments, and neutering surgery before arriving at the shelter. He is estimated to be around 4 years old — still a young cat with his whole life ahead of him. Tamlin is a gentle and sensitive soul. Behind his timid gaze and big round eyes is a calm, affectionate, and deeply lovable cat. He enjoys quietly observing his surroundings, exploring at his own pace, and receiving gentle affection. He handles human interaction very well and above all seeks to feel safe and secure. He tolerates the presence of other cats when they are calm and respectful, but Tamlin is not looking for conflict. After everything he has been through, he deserves a peaceful life at last. He could also thrive as the only cat in a home where he would receive all the attention and stability he needs. We are looking for a calm home without young children in order to preserve his balance and minimize stress. Older children who are gentle and respectful with animals could be a good fit. A calm dog may also be considered with a slow and proper introduction. Tamlin will require dental care, which will be covered by the shelter.
