Smokey and Boots: A Dapper Duo with plenty of “Tuxitude” Introducing Smokey and Boots, a bonded pair of brothers who are always dressed to impress. Smokey sports a unique and rare blue tuxedo coat, while Boots wears the traditional black-and-white formalwear. While they look ready for a gala, their actual passions include sunbathing and sharing a cozy cat tower. Rescued from a porch, these brothers arrived in foster care completely terrified. They have made incredible strides since: Smokey has fully discovered the joy of human affection. He regularly demands love by head-butting your hand, turning on a loud, vibrating purr, and staring up with grateful yellow eyes. He is quickly transforming into the smart, loyal, and delightfully mischievous cat that tuxedos are famous for. Boots is taking a little more time to build confidence. He is currently a spectator, watching his brother get full-body scratches with a hilarious look of disbelief. Despite his shyness, his expressive face shows he is highly tempted to join in. Little by little, he is coming around. Ideal Home: Because they are a bonded pair, Smokey and Boots must be adopted together. They will thrive best in a patient, relatively quiet home that will allow them to blossom at their own pace.
