Smooch weighs in at a perfect 48 pounds, making him a medium size dog. This handsome boy is the ultimate combination of a lap dog and an adventure buddy. Smooch loves making new friends so much that he was actually selected for the prestigious Dogs Playing for Life program, which is basically the Ivy League of canine socialization. He is also a massive fan of children, making him a fantastic candidate for a bustling household full of energy and playtime. Smooch has not had the opportunity to meet any cats yet, so it is unknown how he will be with them. His days of being a stray are officially behind him, and he is ready for his next big passion: water! Whether it is a kiddie pool, a lake, or a backyard hose, if it splashes, Smooch wants to be right in the middle of it. Smooch is currently working hard on his indoor manners, including his house, leash, and crate training. He is an incredibly eager learner who is already mastering the sit and heel commands with lightning speed. The ideal family for Smooch would be an active, loving household with children or another playful dog to keep his social calendar full.
