Buttercream is a bright, cheerful pup who lights up around people. She brings sunshine wherever she goes and is ready to share that joy with a family of her own. Her owner made the difficult decision to surrender her when they could no longer afford her care, and now she is looking forward to beginning her next chapter with a family who can give her the stability she deserves. Buttercream is wonderful with other dogs, greets everyone with enthusiasm, and is happiest simply being near her people. This sweet 9-month-old Retriever mix has a short creamy tan coat and gentle brown eyes that reflect her kind nature. At 44 pounds, she still has some growing to do and will likely be a medium sized dog of up to 60 pounds. She enjoys playing with her canine friends and does well with children. She has not yet met cats since coming into rescue, so her compatibility with them is currently unknown. Her skills, including crate training, house training, and leash walking are all in progress. With her eager personality and desire to please, she will be a wonderful student who thrives with consistency, guidance, and love from her forever family. The adoption fee for Buttercream is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
