Hello! I’m Simon, but my friends call me Si. I’m a one-year-old handsome boy with soft tan fur, striking black markings, and beautiful blue eyes that I happen to think are one of my best features. I’m an easygoing, carefree kind of guy who loves attention and never misses an opportunity to make a new friend. One thing you should know about me: I am incredibly sweet. I’m the type of cat who happily greets people, soaks up pets, and enjoys being part of whatever is going on around me. I’m super outgoing and don’t mind being held at all. If you pick me up for a cuddle, I’ll be perfectly content soaking in the affection. When I’m not charming visitors, you can usually find me relaxing in my favorite position—flat on my back with my feet in the air and my tongue sticking out. Apparently it’s pretty adorable, and I have to admit, I’ve mastered the art of looking completely carefree. I recently came to one of the rescue’s shelter partners because my previous owner needed help caring for me. It’s been a big adjustment, but I’ve handled it with my usual happy-go-lucky attitude. Even though my life has changed, I haven’t stopped believing that my perfect family is out there waiting to find me. I came from a big family of cats, so I may enjoy having a feline friend in my new home. I’m already used to sharing my space and having kitty company around. But honestly, I think I’d be happiest anywhere I’m treated with kindness, given plenty of love, and allowed to be my sweet, silly self. I’m already neutered, current on my vaccines, and I’ll be microchipped before I head home with my new family. All I need now is someone willing to give a friendly, affectionate boy like me a chance. If you’re looking for a cat who will happily accept cuddles, make you smile with his goofy sleeping positions, and remind you every day how special it is to be loved, I might just be your guy.
