Lola the Low Rider was rescued after an elderly lady with dementia was moved to a care facility and her family found three puppies in a pen that they knew nothing about. She will be joining us from Texas May 29th, 2026. She is an 4 month old Doxie mix (best guess) puppy who is waiting for her fredom ride to WA. When our rescue partner reached out for help we couldn't say no. Foster Profile: Lola is an absolute delight of a house guest. She is house trained, doing well in the crate and enjoys long walks with her foster siblings. She's working very hard on her leash manners but there have been far worse young dogs! Don't let Lola's roly poly figure deceive you, she's a spunky lil dog and would love to be your bestie on long walks around the town with a good snuggle to end the day. Gone for part of the day? Lola's joy when you get home is infectious. She enjoys romping around the house with a toy in her mouth pretending she's Tom Cruise in risky business. Lola enjoys hanging with other dogs and is often bouncing around the house trying to get the resident little to play with her and is respectful of the resident grump, though she wouldn't be the best match for a dog that doesn't want to be her friend. She would be fine with or without a dog in the home! Don't think she's innocent though, she's still learning on what is ok to chew (sometimes thinking it can be your fingers) and sometimes can be noisy in the crate. Overall, anyone would be lucky to call this lil kid their own. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, heartworm test if indicated, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
