Even very young puppies require significant guidance and supervision to properly learn how to navigate life in a home environment. Because of this, adopters should be prepared for: Potty training and accidents Teething and chewing stages Crate training and leash training Nighttime wakeups and supervision Ongoing socialization and structure The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, basic structure, and socialization, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption. Chaplin will need: Positive reinforcement training Frequent supervision and potty breaks Patience and consistency Continued socialization and exposure Daily structure and mental stimulation Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, consistency, and love, puppies like Chaplin grow into incredible lifelong companions.
