Welcome (back) to the rescue, Rufus (formerly Hansel)! Rufus is an 9-month‑old, social and affectionate pup who’s been in a loving home since 10 weeks old. Due to circumstances beyond his control, he’s now looking for a new forever home. He’s playful, energetic, and loves to cuddle once he’s had some fun! Rufus does great with other animals—he happily plays with an older dog and even a cat. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and already knows sit, lay down, and give paw. Rufus has never shown any aggression and is a sweet, happy boy. As a young puppy, he can get a little over‑excited, so supervision around kids is recommended.
