Dexter (A142232) is a 1-year-old Hamster available for adoption! 05/21/26 This active little friend is Dexter! Dexter was surrendered to the shelter because his owner was moving, and they thought it would be too difficult for him to make the trip. He was described as a shy but friendly hamster who allows for handling! He was said to have spent more time outside his enclosure before a cat joined the family. However, it was noted that he was curious of the cat! If you are unfamiliar with care requirements for hamsters, we encourage you to do the research prior to adopting. Dexter was used to a large enclosure with plenty of bedding to burrow in and was said to enjoy his applewood chews! He also loved his dust bath!
