Paris is a quiet, thoughtful girl who's still figuring out that people can be trusted. She takes her time getting to know someone, but she's proving to be a calm, easygoing companion. Paris isn't looking for constant attention right now. She'll accept gentle pets without any fuss, but she's still learning what affection means and tends to avoid direct eye contact. Rather than being fearful, she seems more unsure and would benefit from a patient family willing to let her build confidence at her own pace without asking too much too soon. She walks well on a leash, and likes to take everything in at her own gentle pace. Paris seems happiest exploring the world through her nose. She's an independent girl who enjoys sniffing around, and quietly observing what's going on. One thing she's already proven is that she enjoys the company of other dogs. In shelter playgroups, Paris has done well meeting canine friends and is happy to peacefully coexist alongside them, even if she doesn't interact with them much.
