Hi there! My name is Bagel , and I'm the king of cuddles, kisses, and unconditional love! I mean, how can I not be a love bug when I have a heart on my back? I am est 4yrs old and 43 pounds currently. I adore everyone I meet—people, dogs, and anyone willing to share a little affection. My foster mom says I must have had a loving family at some point because I'm completely house-trained, know basic commands, and have never shown fear or aggression. Despite a rough chapter in my life, I haven't lost my trust in people. Before coming to rescue, I was found in Houston severely underweight and neglected. Thankfully, kind people stepped in and made sure I got the help I needed. I'm still working on gaining some healthy weight, but otherwise I'm a handsome, happy boy with a heart full of gratitude. Whether we're hiking trails together (I have excellent recall!) or relaxing on the couch, I'm happiest when I'm close to my people. In fact, cuddling is one of my favorite activities, so I'll need a family that enjoys lots of snuggles. Be prepared for plenty of kisses and affection—I'm known to deliver a serious love bomb! I'm still polishing my leash manners and learning that regular meals mean I don't have to worry about where my next meal is coming from. My foster sister can be a little bossy, but I just let her do her thing. I don't want any drama—I just want to be loved.
