About

This is Crosset, who is a Labrador mix. He was adopted out as a puppy and was returned after the neighbors complained of him barking. He is in his foster home and gets along with the other dogs. He will bark at night when she puts him downstairs uncrated but he stops after a bit. He is 4 years old and weighs 70 lbs. He is a little overweight. He doesn't like to be crated but doesn't really need to be. He is a velcro dog and wants to be near you as much as possible but he will chill out and lay on the floor in the same room as you. He is housebroke and he is good with kids. He will growl once in awhile when he walks past the other foster dogs in the home, but that's all he does. He knows some basic commands like sit, stay and come. If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Crosset’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
