Before coming to rescue, I was attacked multiple times by a larger dog. Because of that, I can be a little nervous when meeting new dogs and I need slow, thoughtful introductions. I currently live with multiple dogs and do well in a pack setting, but I can be a bit pushy and dominant with other dogs. I have a rough-and-rowdy play style and sometimes forget that not everyone wants to wrestle like they’re auditioning for Doggie WWE. Because of my history and play style, any dog siblings should be introduced slowly and carefully. I’d thrive with a savvy adopter who can help me continue building confidence and good manners. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Rosie’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
